Le Mans Sonore is an artistic and sound event held in Le Mans, combining music, design, contemporary art, and acoustic research. Within this framework, “Obelisk Sonore” is a flagship installation created by Benoît Maubrey, an interactive and participatory sound sculpture made from more than 300 recycled speakers. The public can interact with this work via Bluetooth, by talking or singing, which modifies the sound emitted by the sculpture.

The “Obelisk Sonore” installation is on display at the TALM-Le Mans School of Art and Design, located on Avenue de Rostov-sur-le-Don, one of the key venues for the Le Mans Sonore event www.sortirensarthe.com www.billetweb.fr . This work illustrates the ecological and innovative dimension of the event, promoting recycling and interaction between technology and the public.
